My name is Deborah (Debbie) Stottle. I am originally from Connecticut, and my husband John and I moved to Palm Coast in 2016. After working many years up north in medical research; retiring to Florida was quite life changing.

When I first moved here, someone asked me “What is your passion?, What do you like to do?” Feeling awkward not having a ‘passion’, I felt that I needed to find one. I picked up a crochet hook, watched You-tube videos and self-taught the art of crochet. Then my mom, who is an avid sewer and quilter, gave me her old sewing machine and taught me her best tips and tricks. I became especially fascinated with the freedom of creating designs, embellishing them with a variety of decorative colors and patterns of fabric, and yarn; incorporating this into many different works. I am now an avid crocheter and love to sew. Recently I have expanded my horizons doing machine embroidery; monograming and embroidering designs on clothing, towels etc. When I am not busy in my craft room, my husband and I enjoy time out on our boat, traveling, and many trips up north to see our kids, Lauren, Andrew and Taylor.
