I’ve known since I was a child that I was an artist at heart, but life has a habit of getting in the way. I worked for 16 years running my own business specializing in decorative accessories, then became a busy Mom and cardiac nurse. I almost forgot about the little girl inside of me that still wanted to draw and paint. It wasn’t until I was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 50, that I realized how important returning to my love of art and creating was. It became my best therapy.

 

My inspiration comes from my life experiences, music, color, love of birds and animals, and spirituality. To describe my work, I would say it’s colorful, intuitive, and experimental. I wish to express peace and joy through my paintings. I have lived in upstate NY (Finger Lakes Region) most of my life, and I also lived and went to high school in Venice, FL. I currently reside with my husband and my kitty in Palm Coast. Life is good.
