I’ve often been asked where do I get my ideas? Usually in a “You’re not right in the head, are you?” kind of way. All I can say is I have a unique sense of humor and more often than not, the piece tells me what it wants to be and not the other way around. I have a special love of upcycling, or repurposing items that are discarded as junk. I’ll take any old broken or unpaired costume jewelry, unique glass, metal, and sometimes wood to build my clay around. Springs are another favorite of mine and Steampunking makes me giddy.

I started playing with polymer clay about 2005 and have been addicted ever since. Since retiring to Florida in 2012 I’ve been fortunate enough to dedicate more time to my passion and have had some of my pieces published in Polymer Clay Café and Just Steampunk magazines.
